first step to remove stress from your mind is to identify the source of stress.
You can write down all stressful activities of your life in a notepad. You can
keep worrying about deadlines, children’s education, finance and so on. Just
note down everything as soon as you encounter them. This can help you realize
the tension areas of your life. Also note down the patterns and common themes
that caused the stress. Some common questions which can be posed to yourself
can be which events triggered stress, how you reacted to it, your emotional and
physical response and what made you feel better?
Analyze
your method of handling stress in the current situation and assess critically
if they are unhealthy or unproductive? Some habits like zooming in a car,
throwing things away, smoking, drinking or procrastinating might be the unhealthiest
ways to deal with stress. If you realize that your methods of handling stress
are not contributing to your mental and physical happiness, then it’s time to
explore ways to handle stress in a better manner and promote self-love and
mental peace.
